Disney starlet Demi Lovato, who sought treatment in November for “emotional and physical issues,” reached a financial settlement Thursday with a backup dancer she allegedly punched in October, TMZ.com reported.
The 18-year-old actress reportedly punched dancer Alex Welch in the face on board a private jet in October. Welch, who suffered visible bruising, will receive an undisclosed monetary sum under the settlement, according to the report.
“The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely,” Welch’s attorney Donald Karpel told TMZ.
The troubled teen queen remains in rehab for the present due to various issues.
Lovato dated her “Camp Rock” co-star and Jonas Brother musician Joe Jonas, but the pair split earlier this year.
