New Yorkers have spoken — and they like the look of a Turkish minivan best for the city’s so-called new “Taxi of Tomorrow.”
The proposed Karsan V1 beat out designs by Ford and Nissan in a recent survey conducted by the Taxi and Limousine Commission. About 65 percent of the respondents said they liked the look of the Karsan, compared to 42.4 percent for the Nissan and 38 percent for the Ford.
