Liquiteria will keep juices flowing around NYC

Liquiteria, one of New York’s many cold-pressed juice shops — and likely the oldest — is slated to open three new locations this year.

One of them will be taking over the legendary and iconic Gray’s Papaya spot at 8th Street and Sixth Avenue.

A Liquiteria will open in Union Square West next month, and in Union Square East in late spring. The third West Village location is slated to open next summer.

Liquiteria’s Chelsea shop opened in September 2013.

The first Liquiteria opened in the East Village in 1996 and claims to be the first to introduce cold-pressed juice to New York City.

The new stores will be around 1,000 square feet.
