Chelsea Handler: I ripped A-Rod in chance meeting

Alex Rodriguez has struck out again.

The embattled Bronx Bomber couldn’t get close to first base with comedian and talk-show host Chelsea Handler, who brushed him back like he was crowding the plate during a chance meeting.

“Get away from me, you’re disgusting,” Handler said, recalling the conversation Wednesday on the Howard Stern show. “You’re gross.”

She said Rodriguez had caught up to her to ask, “Chelsea, why do you have to make fun of me all the time?”

The suspended slugger went on to plead his case.

“Why am I gross? We got off on the wrong foot. I read all of your books. I’m a big fan.”

But the “Chelsea Lately” star continued to toss the high heat.

“I go, ‘I don’t know why you’re a big fan. I think you’re a f–king a–hole,” she said.

She went on say she thinks Rodriguez is a “buffoon,” “a pile of s–t,”and “hates the way he carries himself.”

Handler was fresh off her own controversy after she took to Twitter to plug her African travelogue, “Uganda Be Kidding Me,” following Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o’s Best Supporting Actress Oscar win.

Handler later apologized, noting, “I’m not racist.”
