A jealous woman attacked her ex-boyfriend’s current flame with a baseball bat in Harlem, authorities said.

Ayanna Hutchenson, 25, was lying in wait for the 26-year-old victim to enter a building on West 142nd Street near Lenox Avenue at 4:45 a.m. on March 17, cops said.

As the victim walked in, Hutchenson pummeled her with a metal bat, striking her in the head and arm, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

The victim claimed to have never met Hutchenson before the attack, law- enforcement sources said.

She was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where she was treated for a fractured arm and a gash to the head, the complaint says.

Hutchenson was arrested on March 22 and charged with assault, police said.

Brooklyn

A man was stabbed to death in Crown Heights yesterday, police said.

The 21-year-old victim got into a clash with his assailant at a building on Eastern Parkway near Buffalo Avenue at around 4:05 a.m., police sources said.

He was found in the stairwell between the first and second floors, with stab wounds to his chest, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motivation for the attack was not immediately known and no arrests have been made.

A law-enforcement source said the victim had nine prior arrests.

The Bronx

The death of a Castle Hill teen is being investigated by the NYPD, but does not appear to be suspicious, police sources said.

Khailaysha Bunch, 17, was found unconscious after a fight with another teen at 3 p.m. Wednesday in her home on Effingham Avenue near Lacombe Avenue, the sources said.

EMTs rushed her to Jacobi Hospital, but she could not be revived.

Bunch had a pre-existing medical history, which may have led to her death, the sources said.

The city’s medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

A man tried to rob a woman in Ridgewood on the night of March 21, but the victim was able to free herself from his clutches, authorities said.

Alfred Nelson, 25, grabbed the victim from behind at around 10 p.m. and tried to grab her cellphone, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

“Give me the phone,” he demanded, according to the complaint.

The woman managed to escape, and cops nabbed Nelson minutes later.

Cops recovered a gravity knife and a bag of marijuana from the thief, the complaint says.

Nelson was charged with attempted robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana, said a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown.

A group of thieves burglarized a train car loaded with cases of beer, authorities said.

Treyvon Samuel, 22, told cops he acted as a lookout while his accomplices broke into a rail yard on Otto Road near 68th Place in Glendale at 1:45 a.m. March 14, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

The thieves busted a lock on the train car and hauled out 45 cases of Corona, but wound up without the brewskis for their trouble, the complaint says.

Cops found Samuel hiding underneath a white car with the cases of beer on the ground no more than five feet from where he was cowering, according to the complaint.

He was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and petit larceny, among other offenses, records show. His beer buddies are still in the wind.

Staten Island

A deliveryman’s truck was stolen in New Dorp after he walked away, leaving the keys in the ignition, authorities said.

The 44-year-old victim left his truck unattended on the northeast corner of Hylan Boulevard and New Dorp Lane at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to a court complaint.

Vincent Ferrentino, 44, hopped in and took the truck for a joyride before getting into a crash a few miles down the road, authorities said.

He was busted on the corner of Fingerboard Road and Hylan Boulevard — and told cops that he had downed six beers before crashing, law-enforcement sources said.

Ferrentino was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle, according to a spokesman for District Attorney Dan Donovan.

A shoplifter was arrested for stealing merchandise from an Old Town drugstore, authorities said.

Samuel Rosa, 31, was spotted stuffing razors and razor blades into his jacket at the CVS store on Hylan Boulevard near Old Town Road at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Criminal Court complaint.

When he tried to leave the store, three employees confronted him, the complaint says.

Rosa then got into a tussle with one of the workers, knocking her to the ground, according to the complaint.

The woman, 23, was taken to Staten Island University North Hospital and treated for a broken finger, the complaint says.

Rosa was arrested at the scene on charges of robbery, assault, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, the DA’s spokesman said.
