Police ID young woman found dead on LES subway track

The young female clubgoer found dead on subway tracks on the Lower East Side yesterday has been identified as Emily Singleton, 22, of Park Slope, authorities said today.

Sources said video shows Singleton, who was dressed to the nines in leather pants and high heels, stumbling out of McKenna’s Pub on West 14th Street in Manhattan and entering the train station on West 14th Street and Seventh Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

She swiped her MetroCard and boarded a southbound No. 1 train.

She ended up on the platform of the Canal Street station, where police believe she then accidentally fell onto the tracks and suffered a fatal head injury.

She was discovered 12 hours later, covered in soot lying in the tracks’ trough, with no ID or cell phone, sources said.

Investigators weren’t sure if she was run over by a train.
