Laundromat sex offender arrested for ‘abusing’ seven in Brooklyn

A convicted sex offender has been arrested for groping and sexually abusing seven young teens and women in Brooklyn, authorities said.

Lowell Britt, 27, was busted Saturday and identified through line-ups, police said.

He was wanted for six incidents in which he entered laundromats, exposed himself and then rubbed up against the victims, police said.

The first incident occurred nearly three years ago, on July 19, 2010, in Brownsville, when he abused a 19-year-old woman, police said.

On March 18, 2012, he then went after two 14-year-old girls and a 16-year-old in a Bushwick Laundromat, police said.

Finally, on March 30 of this year, he rubbed up against three women in Canarsie, police said.

Britt was slapped with charges of sexual abuse, persistent sexual abuse and public lewdness, police said.

He has three more prior arrests between November 2012 and January 2013, also for sexually abusing women in Laundromats, according to a court database.

Britt is being held at Rikers on $100,000 bail or $200,0000 bond, according to the city Department of Corrections.
