A cruel prankster left a fake bomb on the doorstep of a retired firefighter in Bay Ridge less than two days after the terror attack at the Boston Marathon.

The former Bravest told investigators that someone rang his doorbell at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, but when he went to answer it, no one was there.

Instead, Ed Green found a propane tank with tape and wires sticking out, sources said.

Green and his family — as well as their neighbors — were evacuated, cops determined that the “device” was a fake.

Cops busted an angry customer who threatened to shoot up a Sunset Park restaurant, police sources said.

Police were called to the Cocina Mexican Grill on Fifth Avenue near 45th Street at about 10:35 p.m. Friday in response to a call about a rowdy patron.

The cops told Tedis Bourdier, 40, to leave — and that if they had to come back, he would be arrested.

Bourdier did leave, but then came back and allegedly urinated in the restaurant, sources said.

He then allegedly said he would get a gun and shoot up the place, and lunged at a cop after the police were again called.

He was charged with menacing, harassment, disorderly conduct and trespassing, according to a court database.

Manhattan

A woman was ripped off by a pickpocket (pictured) on a subway train, cops said.

The 26-year-old victim was on a southbound 2 train at 5 p.m. April 3 when the sly thief grabbed the wallet out of her purse without her noticing, police said. She discovered that it was missing when she got to the Times Square station, police said.

The suspect was spotted later the same day using one of the woman’s stolen credit cards at a Duane Reade near Penn Station, police said.

A phony construction worker donned a hard hat, vest and tool belt to pull off four burglaries at different Midtown work sites, police sources said.

Robert Woods, of The Bronx, was nabbed by police on April 3 after a stolen laptop was traced to his Mott Haven home, the sources said.

Most recently, he allegedly stole power tools, drills, and hammers from a site on Madison Avenue near East 56th Street on March 23.

He also struck a parked mobile trailer near a construction site on 12th Avenue near West 58th Street on March 17, allegedly taking an Apple laptop and a cellphone.

A day earlier, he allegedly took almost $8,000 in electronics, including a laptop and camera, from a site on West 57th Street near 11th Avenue.

Finally, he was charged with an old Chelsea burglary, on May 27, 2011.

Woods has a lengthy record, with 36 previous run-ins with the police, according to sources.

He was being held at the Manhattan Detention Complex in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Queens

A Richmond Hill man was killed by his girlfriend in a scuffle at their home, authorities said.

Shirley Forbes, 63, was preparing a meal in the kitchen of the home on 112th Street near Jamaica Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday when she got into an argument with Lee Burrison, 55, and he grabbed a knife, according to a police source.

She allegedly told cops that she tried to take it from him and that he was cut in the left shoulder during the fight.

EMS rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he died.

Police charged Forbes with manslaughter. She had previously been arrested for assaulting Burrison with a razor, according to a police source.

The Bronx

Two cat burglars are wanted for breaking into a Morris Heights apartment.

The suspects, a woman (pictured) and a man, got into the home on Montgomery Avenue near West 176th Street sometime between 1:50 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. March 22, police said.

They swiped electronics and then fled, according to police.

Cops busted an 11-year-old boy who brought a loaded BB gun into a Wakefield school yesterday morning, authorities said.

A classmate at PS 87 on Bussing Avenue spotted the gun on the boy as they were taking an exam at 9 a.m., and police were called, cops said.

The child handed over the weapon to cops, and the school did not go into lockdown, according to a spokeswoman for the city’s Department of Education.

The boy was taken into police custody.
