‘Frisk’ cop death threat

A Bronx police precinct commander who testified during the stop-and-frisk trial received a death threat, sources said.

NYPD Deputy Inspector Christopher McCormack was secretly taped telling an officer to stop and frisk black men between 14 and 21 years old. He then testified about the recording at the trial in March.

Later, a newspaper article about McCormack appeared in his wife’s mailbox at a suburban school where she works, a source said.

She later received a call at her office in which a male voice told her, “I’m going to kill your husband,” the source said.
