One Star Wars fan is showing off a homemade ‘lightsaber’ — the whooshing, buzzing weapon of Jedi Knights — in a video online.
The YouTuber, styropyro, shows his weapon burning through paper, tape, card board and a ping pong ball. He even manages to get a tiny, solar-powered car going.
Styropyro says in the video’s description that a BEAST 3000mW blue laser lies at the heart of this DIY weapon.
He proclaims, “Most things light INSTANTLY when placed in the beam of this laser! This is the most powerful handheld laser that I’ve ever used!”
Before then pointing out: “This laser is legal to own in the US, and I wore goggles while shooting this video.”
