Cops quickly collar teen robbers after Park Slope bashing

Cops quickly collared two teen robbers who held up and pummeled a man in Park Slope, authorities said.

The victim, 26, had just left the Fourth Avenue- 9th Street station when he was approached by Jay Akueno, 16, and his 13-year-old lookout, about 9 p.m. May 21 on 10th Street, law- enforcement sources said.

The duo asked him to hand over his iPhone , but he refused, sources said.

Akueno allegedly punched him in the face, breaking his glasses– and the victim fell to his knees. His Sports Illustrated backpack fell off, and the alleged goons snatched it. Inside was a Kindle and umbrella, as well as other items, sources added.

When the victim got up, the fearsome duo told him they would stab him if he called police. They then ran off. But a good Samaritan called 911, and police quickly caught the two nearby.

Akueno was hit with a slew of charges, including four counts of robbery, assault, criminal mischief, and petit larceny, according to a Criminal Court complaint. His juvenile accomplice is being charged separately in family court.

The victim was not badly injured, and did not need medical treatment, sources added. He did suffer bruises on his neck and face.

Akueno is being held on Riker’s Island, with bail set at $1,751, according to Corrections records.
