Magic Johnson: Nets have most talent in NBA

ORLANDO — After sitting in the front row at Barclays Center for the Nets’ 101-100 victory over the two-time defending champion Heat, Magic Johnson came away quite impressed with the new-look Nets.

“I was at the Heat vs. Nets game last night …,” the Hall of Famer tweeted early Saturday evening, before following that tweet with another.

“The Brooklyn Nets probably have the most talent and could possibly win the NBA Championship.”

Johnson sat between Mayor Bloomberg and Nets minority owner Bruce Ratner for Friday night’s game, earning a massive ovation from the crowd when he was shown on the JumboTron during the game. He also chatted with LeBron James during a dead ball.

Johnson was far from the only celebrity on-hand Saturday night, as future Hall of Famer Allen Iverson was in attendance, along with comedian Chris Rock, soccer star David Beckham, rapper Fabolous and Jets quarterback Geno Smith, who was sitting in the courtside seats owned by his agent, Jay-Z, along with teammate and fellow rookie cornerback Dee Milliner.
