‘I took the phone … but I offered the kid two dollars,’ whines thug who stole iPhone from 3-year-old as he heads to prison

The heartless thief who swiped an iPhone from the hands of a 3-year-old boy — within arm’s length of his mother — in Greenwich Village in March was sentenced yesterday to 1 1/2 to 3 years in prison.

Feliberto Ramirez, 53, swaggered into Manhattan Supreme Court smirking, wearing glasses and baggy jeans, as Judge Ronald Zweibel delivered the sentence prosecutors had recommended.

Ramirez didn’t utter a word during the brief sentencing hearing.

“Yeah, I f–ked up, I took the phone,” Ramirez had told cops after his arrest.

“But I offered the kid two dollars. He shook his head, said yeah, and he handed me the phone.”

Ramirez allegedly sold the smartphone for $50 to support his drug habit.

He struck as the tyke, Aidan Tally of Lodi, NJ, played “Subway Surfer” on his mom’s phone while she perused sneakers in Zacky’s on Broadway.

Ramirez, who is homeless, was convicted of grand larceny.
