It’s gotten ugly between these two beauties.

Prosecutors are mulling a felony strangulation rap against hot Wilhelmina model Romulo Pires da Silva for allegedly choking, biting and imprisoning his gorgeous, Guess Jeans-modeling fiance in their posh W. 31st St. apartment.

“The people are considering indicting him on felony strangulation charges,” assistant district attorney Timothy Duda has told a Manhattan judge in the model-on-model mayhem, which cops say left sizzling Thais Oliveira choked, scratched and bitten.

The blue-eyed, brunette had told cops that da Silva — who returns to court today Friday — squeezed her throat while holding her down on their bed, scratching and bruising her neck, according to the complaint against him.

He also allegedly bit her on the back of her neck, and held the bedroom door closed, barring her from leaving.

“He’s actually the sweetest guy,” defense lawyer Jeffrey Chabrowe counters of da Silva, who was raised as the oldest of four children by a single mother in Brasilia, and was discovered as a teen while working as a mechanic at an auto body shop.

A customer had asked da Silva if he would like to participate in an Elite Modeling contest. He did — and that’s where he met Oliveira, the lawyer said in pre-trial motions. “He won both the city and national modeling competition, and moved to Italy three months later” to model in Milan, the lawyer wrote.

Prosecutors are barreling ahead even though Oliveira won’t cooperate with authorities and still plans on marrying her Romulo, the lawyer complained.

“They’re considering putting the case into a grand jury without her,” defense lawyer Jeffrey Chabrowe told The Post.

“But she does not want to press charges, and they won’t even allow them to be together,” he said of the two Brazilian knockouts.

“They’ve been together for nine years without any incidents, and both of them have made statements that she was the one who attacked him,” the lawyer said.

“Any injuries she suffered were a result of him trying to keep her off of him, and they’ve both told cops and prosecutors that,” he said.

Da Silva is already charged with misdemeanor assault, strangulation, harassment and unlawful imprisonment in the alleged attack on his blue-eyed sweetheart.

“Mr. da Silva and Miss Oliveira are still planning on getting married and continuing on with the life in New York City,” the lawyer wrote. Oliveira models for Guess and other top brands, and is repped by One Management, which also reps Claudia Schiffer.

As for today’s court Friday appearance, “I think they’re going to announce their intent to put the case in a grand jury,” the lawyer said.
