Tonight, all 30 NBA teams will convene inside Barclays Center for the 2013 NBA Draft and, thanks to the absence of a clear choice for the No. 1 pick, this year’s proceedings could wind up going in all sorts of different directions. Here’s how The Post predicts things will shake out in Brooklyn tonight (7:30, ESPN):
1. Cavaliers
Nerlens Noel, C, Kentucky – Noel is still recovering from ACL surgery, but is a potential game-changing defensive presence who steadily improved in his freshman year until he got hurt.
2. Magic
Victor Oladipo, SG, Indiana – Oladipo is exactly the kind of player Magic GM Rob Hennigan is looking for: defensive-minded, hard-working and committed to winning.
3. Wizards
Otto Porter, SF, Georgetown – Porter is a nice complement to the young backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal, which will become the foundation of Washington’s rebuilding effort.
4. Bobcats
Alex Len, C, Maryland – The Bobcats need a lot of things, but desperately need a big man, making the 7-foot-1 Len a good fit.
5. Suns
Ben McLemore, SG, Kansas – New coach Jeff Hornacek hopes to play an uptempo style, and the sweet-shooting McLemore is a perfect fit alongside point guard Goran Dragic.
6. Pelicans
Anthony Bennett, PF, UNLV – Bennett is a bit of a tweener at 6-foot-7 and 240 pounds, but he can fill it up and could be an intriguing fit alongside last year’s top overall pick, Anthony Davis.
7. Kings
Michael Carter-Williams, PG, Syracuse – Under new ownership and with a new general manager and coach, the Kings can tap a new leader on the court in 6-foot-6 Carter-Williams.
8. Pistons
Trey Burke, PG, Michigan – The Pistons could use a small forward, but fans would be thrilled if local star Burke stays in Michigan, where he’d fit nicely alongside Brandon Knight.
9. Timberwolves
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, SG, Georgia – The Timberwolves haven’t hidden the fact that they need a shooter, and Caldwell-Pope certainly fits the bill.
10. Trail Blazers
C.J. McCollum, SG, Lehigh – A year after drafting 2013 Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard, the Blazers could snag the player in this draft many prognosticators compare him with.
11. 76ers
Steven Adams, C, Pittsburgh – Adams is raw, but Philadelphia needs a big man after the failed Andrew Bynum experiment and Adams — if he develops — could be special.
12. Thunder (from RAPTORS)
Cody Zeller, C, Indiana – Zeller would give the Thunder another athletic, versatile big man who could keep up with their uptempo style.
13. Mavericks
Sergey Karasev, SF, Russia – The Mavs are a prime trade candidate, as they hope to clear cap space to chase Dwight Howard in free agency. Several teams, including the Nets, like Karasev’s game.
14. Jazz
Dennis Schroeder, PG, Germany – Schroeder has been compared to Rajon Rondo, and could be the answer at point guard the Jazz have been looking for.
15. Bucks
Shane Larkin, PG, Miami – The athletic floor general — and son of Barry Larkin — has flown up draft boards in recent weeks.
16. Celtics
Shabazz Muhammad, SF, UCLA – Muhammad has his fair share of issues, but Danny Ainge is willing to take risks and Muhammad has potential No. 1-pick upside.
17. Hawks
Mason Plumlee, C, Duke – Plumlee would be a nice fit next to Al Horford as GM Danny Ferry and new coach Mike Budenholzer begin to build the Hawks from the ground up.
18. Hawks (from Rockets via Nets)
Lucas Nogueira, C, Brazil – It’s likely at least one of the two picks the Hawks have will be used on a draft-and-stash, and Nogueira is intriguing for his athleticism and shot-blocking ability.
19. Cavaliers (from LAKERS)
Reggie Bullock, SF, North Carolina – Bullock is the best shooter in the draft, hitting 43 percent of his 3-pointers last year.
20. Bulls
Tim Hardaway Jr., SG, Michigan – Mature beyond his years, Hardaway would fit nicely into the culture that coach Tom Thibodeau has created in Chicago.
21. Jazz (from Warriors via Nets)
Kelly Olynyk, C, Gonzaga – With both Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson set to be free agents, the Jazz could use a big man, and Olynyk would fit well alongside either Derrick Favors or Enes Kanter.
22. Nets
Gorgui Dieng, C, Louisville – The Nets have looked at a lot of wings during the pre-draft process, but could opt to go big if Dieng — an athletic, defensive presence inside — is still available.
23. Pacers
Isaiah Canaan, PG, Murray State – The Pacers desperately need a backup point guard and scoring off the bench, and Canaan could provide both things.
24. Knicks
Allen Crabbe, SG, California – Crabbe is a very good shooter, which fits with the Knicks’ 3-point heavy offense, and also fills a need for another wing alongside Iman Shumpert.
25. Clippers
Ricky Ledo, SG, Providence – With their plethora of veterans, the Clippers can afford to develop Ledo, and now have the perfect coach to do so in Doc Rivers.
26. Timberwolves (from Memphis)
Rudy Gobert, C, France – After going with a shooter with their first pick, the Timberwolves could go big here.
27. Nuggets
Jamaal Franklin, SG, San Diego State – With Corey Brewer and Andre Iguodala set to test free agency, Franklin could help fill the void if either one leaves.
28. Spurs
Jeff Withey, C, Kansas – With Tiago Splitter set to be a restricted free agent, Withey could give the Spurs a cheap replacement if Splitter bolts.
29. Thunder
Giannis Adetokunbo, SF, Greece – It’s likely that the Thunder will use this pick to stash a player overseas, and Adetokunbo, who has quickly risen up draft boards, is a possible candidate.
30. Suns (from Miami)
Tony Mitchell, PF, North Texas – Mitchell has all the tools to be a good NBA power forward, but questions remain about whether he can put them all together.
