It was the selfie that broke Twitter and garnered the most retweets ever. But now Oscars host Ellen DeGeneres’ star-studded self-portrait is inspiring regular folks to get in on the action.
Across Twitter, people from all corners of the world are doing their best recreation of the Oscars selfie that captured Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Meryl Streep and a host of other A-listers in one frame.
Local news anchor Pat Kiernan posted a photo of himself being flanked by the NY1 morning crew, Ellen-style, and across the pond, BBC staffers in Ulster did their own version.
