Pal of convicted art dealer sentenced in high-roller gambling ring

The buddy and business associate of wealthy Manhattan art dealer Hillel “Helly” Nahmad is joining the notorious playboy behind bars.

Illya Trincher was sentenced in Manhattan federal court Thursday to six months in jail and then six months of home confinement for partnering with Nahmad on several online illegal gambling Web sites.

The sites, which catered to celebs and other wealthy clients, have generated tens of millions of dollars of sports bets since 2012.

Trincher must also forfeit $6.9 million as part of his plea deal with the feds.

Nahmad last week was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for his leadership role in the $100 million international gambling ring that involved Russian mobsters and drew celeb players like Leonardo DiCaprio.

The 35-year-old scion of a $3 billion art-world clan also agreed to pay restitution of $6.4 million and give up the rights to the 1937 painting Carnaval à Nice, by artist Raoul Dufy.

“My family is a private family, and I brought dishonor to it,” Nahmad told the court at his sentencing last week.

Nahmad had the one day added to the one-year sentence to qualify for time off with good behavior.

Trincher’s father, Vadim, was sentenced to five years in jail in the same case.
