Cops bust thug who pistol-whipped woman in Carroll Gardens after ‘sicko’ leaves cell phone at scene

Police nabbed the brute who pistol-whipped a Brooklyn woman yesterday and then tried to abduct her before he absentmindedly left his cell phone at the scene of the crime, cops said today.

Detectives traced Willie Weathers, 42, to Red Hook after they found pictures of him and his car on the cell phone he dropped in Carroll Gardens. He was later identified by the victim in a line-up.

Weathers allegedly approached the 27-year-old victim on Second Place and Court Street about 2 a.m., and flashed a gun at her, cops said.

She emptied her pockets and tried to give him her cell phone and wallet, but he didn’t want the items– and tried to drag her into his car, beating her at least four times with his gun, sources said.

The victim fought off Weathers, who fled in his car.

“I was fighting him, but he could’ve shot me easily,” she told the Post yesterday. “There are no words. He’s a sicko.”

Weathers was charged with three counts of robbery, kidnapping, and assault, as well as forcible touching, grand larceny, and menacing, authorities said.
