Simon Cowell’s baby mama was eyeing two due dates — one for the birth and another for her prenup payday.
Lauren Silverman had to patiently wait to make their steamy love affair public, sources told The Post, so her prenup could kick in.
She could get $3 million to $4 million from the prenup with Manhattan real-estate developer Andrew Silverman, but the couple had to be married a decade for the agreement to take effect, friends said.
Now that the 10-year deadline has passed, Lauren, pregnant with Cowell’s child, feels free to end her bitter union with Silverman.
“This is just another example of her going for the money,’’ said a source in Andrew’s camp.
She allegedly began cheating with the sour-pussed reality-TV music man in 2011, even though her cuckolded hubby was pals with Cowell and the couple frequently socialized with the “X-Factor” judge and his gal pals.
The Silvermans hope to make their split official as early as this week, another source said.
A harried Lauren, 36, was spotted in black short-shorts and a loose-fitting blouse as she shopped in a Hamptons toy store yesterday with her 7-year-old son, Andrew, after spending the night in the same house as her soon-to-be ex.
The two were trying to keep things normal for their boy, sources said.
“Lauren’s under a huge amount of stress because of the attention she’s getting,” the source said. “Andrew wants out of the marriage. And Simon wants the situation concluded as soon as possible because he doesn’t want his name associated with a situation like this.”
