Many pet owners spend more on their pets than on themselves

Almost half of pet owners say they pamper their pooches and cats more than they do themselves and the people in their households, a survey reveals.

Of the 2,302 people interviewed for the poll conducted by vouchercloud.net and released last week, 42 percent reported spending on average about $22.20 more a month on “treats and luxuries” for their furry friends than they spend on the humans in their homes.
