There they grow! Bam girls stylish li’l first ladies

They’ve got lots to smile about.

Malia and Sasha Obama brightened up their presidential dad’s special day yesterday with their wide grins and colorful coats.

Malia, 14, went with a magenta J.Crew coat, violet tights and black boots, standing quite a bit taller than she did when her father was sworn in for the first time four years ago.

And 11-year-old Sasha, who was just in second grade in 2009, was looking like a mature young lady in her purple coat from Kate Spade New York.

Clothes aside, Sasha sparked an Internet fury yesterday, going viral when television cameras caught her yawning during President Obama’s inaugural address.

Her dad was speaking on education policy — saying, “No single person can train all the math and science teachers that we’ll need to equip our children for the future” — when an image of Sasha opening her mouth, wide, popped onto millions of television screens around the world.

An animated .gif image was shared online, showing the yawn on an endless loop.

Twitter user Peter Goodman aptly noted, “Poor Sasha will be hearing about that yawn for the rest of her life.”

Sasha and her sister lit up Twitter again later in the day during the Inaugural Parade.

Sitting next to their parents, Sasha tried to snap a candid photo with her cellphone of the power pair exchanging a quick smooch.

But when she went to take the picture, Malia leaned right in front of the cellphone and opened her own mouth wide, ruining her little sister’s snapshot with what Twitter users quickly dubbed a “photobomb.”
