Mail deliveries missing parts of The Bronx over past month

Neither snow nor rain nor . . . what?

Letter carriers in parts of The Bronx have apparently never seen the US Postal Service’s motto, judging from all the missed deliveries in the last month.

Angry residents in Riverdale, Kingsbridge, Marble Hill and Van Cortlandt Village say they would be better off with carrier pigeons after missing their mail for more than a week.

“Last week, four, five days, no mail,” said Brenda Tatum, 64. “Not even junk mail. A lot of business can’t be handled by e-mail.”

A USPS spokeswoman blamed the problem on the snow.
