Duncan’s knee looks OK in MRI

SAN ANTONIO — An MRI exam on the left knee of Spurs All-Star forward Tim Duncan yesterday showed no structural damage, and he is listed as day to day.

Duncan sprained his left knee and right ankle and had to be helped off the court in the first half of Saturday night’s game against the Wizards.

The injury appeared to be much worse when Washington’s Martell Webster rolled into the back of Duncan’s legs while fighting for a rebound with 3:54 left in the second quarter.

The 14-time All-Star is averaging 17.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season.
