Colin Farrell’s upcoming movie “Dead Man Down” is so desperate for attention that the advertising team created a sickening YouTube video which shows people’s reactions to a person apparently being murdered in a New York elevator.

The “Elevator Murder Experiment” video starts in much the same way that hilarious viral videos like Brazil’s ghost girl and its zombie sequel did: actors setup hidden cameras, demonstrate the “prank” they are about to pull, and then wait for unsuspecting victims.

Explaining the premise is the video’s caption which reads, “What would you do if you walked into a murder in progress? Two guys asked themselves the same question and staged a murder-in-progress inside a New York City elevator. Hidden cameras recorded people’s reactions. What would you do?

However, unlike the hilarious Brazilian YouTube sensations, “Elevator Murder Experiment” turns into a terrifying display which leaves nobody laughing.

In the first three scenes scared potential elevator riders simply walk away, not sure what to do. But in other scenes panicked women scream for help while one woman tries to stop the “murder” with her bouquet of flowers.
