The Knicks have to hope that every player is as intimidated by Metta World Peace as Tyler Hansbrough appeared on Monday night.
Hansbrough looked frustrated with getting hacked on a layup attempt in the Raptors-Knicks preseason game … until turning around and realizing who had fouled him.
After seeing World Peace, Hansbrough’s expression immediately went from angry to apologetic. World Peace also contributed in a more conventional fashion by scoring 16 points in the Knicks’ 123-120 double-overtime loss.
As commenters began to poke fun at Hansbrough’s about-face, World Peace rushed to defend the forward in a series of tweets.
