He couldn’t elude the long arm of the claw.

A suspected shoplifter was busted in the attempted theft of lobster tails from the BJ’s Wholesale Club in East New York, authorities said.

According to court documents, Joseph Delvecchio, 33, was spotted Monday at 12:20 a.m. in the big-box store at the Gateway Center, hiding the seafood in his pants and jacket.

He was stopped by security personnel and arrested by cops, court records show.

He was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, the records show.

Police released a sketch of a man suspected of sexually attacking a woman in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The 23-year-old victim was near Decatur Street and Ralph Avenue Saturday at about 6:30 a.m. when the suspect approached, police said.

He grabbed the victim by the neck, sexually assaulted her and stole money, cops said.

The suspect is in his early to mid 20s and about 5-foot-7 with a thin mustache, police said.

A school safety agent was arrested in his East New York home for repeatedly harassing a girlfriend, authorities said.

Wilson Solomon, 34, was picked up Tuesday at 6 p.m. on Glenmore Avenue near Vermont Street, cops said.

He had made several threats via cellphone to the 45-year-old woman and threatened to harm her if she filed a report against him, court documents reveal.

Solomon was charged with aggravated harassment, records show.

Two thugs robbed and attacked a pedestrian in East New York, authorities said.

The 55-year-old victim was walking along Van Siclen Avenue Saturday at 3:40 p.m. when the suspects surprised him from behind, cops said.

One thug knocked down the victim with a punch to the back of the head, police said.

The other then kicked the victim and stole a cellphone, cops said.

The victim was treated at Brookdale Hospital for a broken wrist and cuts, cops said.

One suspect is in his 20s and weighs about 185 pounds, cops said. There was no description available for the second suspect.

A burning-mad woman poked her ex-boyfriend in the eye with a lit cigarette in Fordham and later assaulted a a cop, authorities said.

The mayhem began shortly after midnight Tuesday when a raging Luz Rivera, 21, allegedly reached into her ex-beau’s jacket pocket and took his cellphone at the door of his East 192nd Street apartment, court papers state.

She departed but quickly returned and stabbed him in the eye with a cigarette, records show.

When cops arrested her at 6:30 a.m. in an apartment on Decatur Avenue in Norwood, she allegedly attempted to resist arrest.

But her troubles with law enforcement didn’t end there.

At the 52nd Precinct station house, she refused to enter her cell and smacked a cop in the face, authorities added.

She was hit with a slew of charges, including robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and criminal mischief, as well as obstructing governmental administration, records show.

Cops are looking for two thieves who broke into a Dongan Hills house.

Police on Wednesday released surveillance video of two suspected burglars responsible for ransacking a two-story home on Jenna Lane near Richmond Road on Jan. 3, at about 7 p.m.

The suspects broke in through a rear window on the second-floor balcony and pocketed jewelry and cash, police said.

Cops nabbed a suspected burglar who broke into a home in Randall Manor, authorities said.

Isaiah Hunt, 23, was arrested on Feb. 20 for breaking into the home on Skinner Lane and stealing a flat-panel television as well as Xbox games and a console sometime between Feb. 5 and 6, court papers state.

An accomplice is still on the loose.

Hunt has 15 prior arrests, according to a law-enforcement source.

He was charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and resisting arrest, according to a spokesman for Staten Island DA Daniel Donovan.
