Mike Francesa will not have to wait much longer to make a return to TV.
Francesa will soon bring his WFAN radio show to Fox Sports 1, sources said in a Newsday report.
Francesa said on air last week an official announcement could come early this week, and he could be back on TV in time for March Madness.
Francesa’s show had previously been simulcast on YES Network, but his contract ended on Jan. 31 and Michael Kay’s program has taken its place on the Yankees network.
Now Francesa’s New York-centric program gets a national cable audience.
