Man who assaulted flight attendant sues over attack’s web video

A Brooklyn man who used a JetBlue flight attendant as a punching bag in a drunken assault says he is a victim — of cyberbullying.

Antonio Ynoa, 24, claims Google, YouTube and an online video company called Dailymotion violated his privacy by posting a video of the attack online, according to a lawsuit.

Ynoa was arrested and sentenced to three months in jail for the 2011 attack on flight attendant Elio Cabral, in which he started poking at the JetBlue attendant and then slugged him three times in the face.

The assault began because Cabral had asked Ynoa to stop drinking on the JFK-bound flight out of the Dominican Republic.

Released from jail in January, Ynoa says the big tech companies were taking advantage of him, according to a Brooklyn federal lawsuit.

Ynoa, who is acting as his own lawyer, is seeking $200.5 million in damages.

The 30-second video created by Dailymotion “was an intentional intrusion upon Antonio Ynoa’s seclusion, solitude, private affairs or concerns by cyber bullying,” Ynoa charges in court papers.

The video was allegedly so popular, Ynoa says it made him a crime victim.

“The intrusion was substantial,” he claimed. “Strangers called out, ‘Look it’s the guy from the YouTube video,’ on one occasion resulting in an attempted robbery.”

Ynoa adds the “unwanted publicity, [and] notoriety resulted in a physical assault and the loss of a front tooth.”

The video was taken down a year ago, Ynoa says, but the damage has been done.

Google, YouTube and Dailymotion did not respond to requests for comment.
