$14M set for Hill’s new book

WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton inked a deal to write a new book that will come out at the height of the political season next summer, amid industry speculation that her advance could hit $14 million.

Although Clinton has already penned four books, this one has DC buzzing that it could be a launching pad for a second presidential campaign.

Clinton got an $8 million advance for her previous book, while hubby Bill Clinton got $15 million for his memoir, “My Life.”

The new untitled memoir will chronicle Hillary’s “key decisions and experiences as Secretary of State,” according to her publisher, Simon & Schuster.

It will cover the killing of Osama bin Laden, the Arab Spring, China, and Libya. The timing of the release in 2014 will put Clinton on a national book tour just as presidential campaigns are organizing.

Clinton-family confidant James Carville yesterday gave the stamp of approval to a draft-Hillary super PAC, saying it’s time to act on the “hunger” for another Clinton-presidential campaign.

“We owe it to Hillary to start putting the building blocks of her campaign together now. The modern political campaign demands it,” Carville wrote in an e-mail backing the Ready for Hillary PAC.
