Killjoy cops vs. Santa Con

Killjoy cops were ho-ho-horrible!

Police officers stationed for the first time along the Santa Con pub-crawl route ruined the drunken debauchery of Kris Kringle-clad revelers on Saturday — despite the festive blanket of snow that covered the Big Apple.

“They are ruining Santa Con. They are ruining our fun . . . The cops should be here, but not to bust our balls,” whined Anthony Perugini, a 28-year-old teacher.

“That’s not cool,” he added. “That’s wrong, man!”

Scores of officers handed out fliers full of rules at subway stations, bars and parks, warning partiers to remove their fake beards before entering bars.

The fliers may as well have read, “Bah humbug,” bummed-out revelers said.

“You can’t have a good time when the cops are hovering over you,” complained Ashley Urciuoli, 23, a medical assistant.

Cops increased enforcement at the annual event after neighbors complained about sloshed Santas vomiting and urinating in the street.

At least 10 summonses were issued by early morning, cops said.

And at least one Santa wound up on the receiving end of the unruliness, and had to be treated and released at Bellevue Hospital.

“We were hanging out with the ladies and some guys didn’t like it,” explained a 27-year-old St. Nick who got nicked in the neck with broken glass during a 10 p.m. barfight at The Irish Exit at 52nd Street and Second Avenue.

The vast majority of the thousands of participating Santas braved nothing worse than 25-degree temperatures, nearly half a foot of snow, and 22-mph winds.
