BRIDES LIFT VEIL ON SEX FANTASIES

Saying “I do” doesn’t mean the passion’s kaput – at least according to a majority of brides-to-be, who think sex will get steamier after they marry.

A survey by brides.com found that 52 percent of women who are about to tie the knot think they will have a better love life with their husband.

The survey contained several surprising findings about what women expect between the sheets after the big day:

* 37 percent admit that they have had fantasies about other men when in bed with their fiancé.

* 42 percent say they plan to halt all sexual activity before their wedding.

* 53 percent plan to abstain from sex for at least a month before exchanging vows.

* 92 percent will sleep alone on the night before their wedding.

* Some 95 percent say they plan to buy new lingerie before their wedding, and 24 percent say they plan to buy a sex toy.

* About 11 percent of women say they plan to wait until after marriage to have sex.

The nonscientific survey was taken on the Web site starting in June. It received 2,206 responses.
