‘VICE-LOVER’ COP GETS YR.

A crooked ex-cop who pimped out his badge for a Korean brothel owner, taking cash and discounted sex with hookers, was sentenced yesterday to more than a year behind bars.

Dennis Kim, formerly of the 109th Precinct in Queens, must also pay $3,000 in fines – money he took in exchange for providing protection for the Flushing brothel and cracking down on rival cathouses.

The disgraced cop gave a weepy apology to his family and friends for landing on the wrong side of the law as Brooklyn federal Judge Sandra Townes sentenced him to 13 months plus one day behind bars for extortion.

His former partner, Jerry Svoronos, was also busted in the case and agreed to cooperate with the feds.

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly once praised Kim and Svoronos, both eight-year veterans, for their aggressive prostitution crackdowns.
