A judge yesterday gave Britney Spears‘ father permanent control over the pop tart’s financial affairs.
LA Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz granted Jamie Spears’ request to make his conservatorship over the troubled songbird a standing order.
A lawyer for Britney said the singer does not object.
Jamie Spears has had control over his 26-year-old daughters affairs since February, after she suffered two very public mental breakdowns.
The conservatorship was set to expire at the end of this year.
Earlier yesterday, Goetz ruled that Britney can’t be forced to give a deposition in a lawsuit filed by the singer’s former manager.
