A poll released yesterday gives Republicans hope in their battle to preserve the party’s four-decade lock on the state Senate.
The Siena Research Institute survey showed Sen. Joseph Robach (R-Rochester) has widened his lead to 13 percentage points, despite Democratic enrollment and cash advantages for challenger Rick Dollinger.
The Republicans are clinging to a two-seat majority in the 62-seat Senate.
