SUSPENSION FOR REV. ELVIS

The randy reverend accused of seducing a parishioner at a Queens church was suspended yesterday by an upstate Catholic hospital where he has been working for three months.

Father Elvis Elano, 44, is accused of carrying on a sexual relationship with Judith Rodrigues-Lytwyn after he told her their union was “ordained by God” inside a confessional last March.

“Father Elano has been suspended from his duties at Benedictine Hospital, where he provided pastoral care to our patients since August 2008,” said Sean Casey, a spokesman for the Kingston facility.

Casey would not confirm that the suspension had anything to do with the allegations that Elano had seduced Rodrigues-Lytwyn, 50, at his previous post at Our Lady of the Snows in Glen Oaks.

Parishioners at the Queens church expressed surprise at the scandal.

“He was a good priest,” said churchgoer Lani Devera.
