An auto mechanic who mowed down a 12-year-old boy while driving away from a minor fender-bender pleaded guilty to manslaughter yesterday in a Queens’ courtroom moments before jury selection was to begin in his trial.
Juan Franjul, 48, will go to prison for two to nine years for the December 2006 death of Jacob Colon at Atlantic Avenue and 108th Street in Richmond Hill.
