SEEMS LIKE OLD CRIMES FOR 2: COPS

A pair of outlaw geezers from the old “Over the Hill Gang” joined forces for one last crime spree – but were busted after a two-state dragnet, authorities said.

Amos Miller, 68, and Johnny Davis, 62, allegedly led New Jersey cops on a two-mile car chase Friday, then fled on foot.

Davis escaped into heavy woods but was tracked down the next day in Brooklyn, the gang’s home turf. In the 1980s and ’90s, he led the notorious gang whose thousands of break-ins of Long Island and New Jersey homes netted at least $10 million.

The crime wave was thought to have ended in 1998, when seven members were arrested after a two-year probe. But on Oct. 28, a home in Brookville, LI, was burglarized, and detectives tied the robbery to a silver Mercedes-Benz with a Florida registration traceable to Davis.

A second clue to the gang’s revival came on Nov. 18, when two men were seen running from a just-burglarized home in Allendale, NJ. A white Toyota Camry found about a half-mile away turned out to be registered to Miller, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Detectives tailed the duo last Friday as they drove from Brooklyn to Livingston, NJ, then walked into some woods. Two hours later, they returned and sped off as police tried to stop them. Cops said they chased them for two miles until the Camry spun out and came to a stop on a lawn.

When the two ran for it, Miller was caught as Davis escaped, only to be arrested in Brooklyn.

Jewelry and other loot from the Livingston home were found in the car, along with ski masks, gloves and burglary tools, cops said.
