MARBURY GIVES DUHON KUDOS

Chris Duhon, Stephon Marbury’s successor at point guard, always spoke respectfully and poignantly of Marbury’s exiled state.

Marbury, in turn, has nothing but respect for Duhon, and said he thinks the Knicks are in good hands following Duhon’s 22-assist, team record-breaking performance in the 138-126 win over Golden State on Saturday.

Duhon broke Richie Guerin’s 50-year-old Knicks record of 21 assists. The suspended Marbury watched on tape after seeing Rice High play an exhibition.

“He was great,” Marbury said. “He looked like an All-Star.”
