FOX BUSINESS SPARS WITH GRINCH CRAMER

Still a distant second to CNBC in the ratings race, Fox Business News is having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit.

The one-year-old network sent out a corporate holiday card depicting CNBC host Jim Cramer as the Grinch. Aside from a Photoshopped picture of Cramer, the lyrics inside the card – “You’re a mean one, Mr. Cramer” – are set to the tune of “Mr. Grinch.”

The lyrics go on to jab Cramer for touting Bear Stearns and Wachovia before they fell and telling viewers to take their money out of the market after he had steadily advised them to put it in.

The card continues a campaign Fox has waged against CNBC and Cramer for several months. In October, the network ran ads attacking several of Cramer’s investment calls.

Fox Business Network is part of News Corp., which also owns The Post.

“As the lowest rated cable network among all rated cable networks, if Fox ‘Business’ News sends a card to every viewer, advertiser and individual who has ever seen or even heard of FBN it would be the smallest holiday card print run in history,” said a CNBC spokesman.
