KIDS SUE OVER ‘MOB’ EATERY

The children of an alleged mob associate who ran a now-shuttered Queens restaurant have joined forces with the children of its former banquet manager to sue the city because the Parks Department refused to let them bid for the premises.

Caffe on the Green was shut down Jan. 1 after its owner, Joseph Franco, an alleged made man in the Gambino crime family, signed a deal with the city to give it up to settle allegations he was underreporting income.

The deal included a clause preventing him or his relatives or associates from bidding for the restaurant when the city requested new proposals.
