‘BERN OUT!’

Neighbors of Bernie Madoff, who remains under house arrest on the Upper East Side, are wondering when they can kick the $50 billion Ponzi putz out of their building. Having it under armed guard is no fun.

Madoff recently resigned as co-op board president and sent letters to neighbors apologizing for the “terrible inconvenience” he’s caused. But that apparently isn’t enough. We hear that neighbors at 133 E. 64th St. can’t wait for Madoff to be indicted, so they can kick him to the curb.

Speaking of crooked Uncle Bernie, his niece Shana Madoff and her ex-SEC lawyer hubby, Eric Swanson, toured the Diamond House condo building at 170 E. 77th St. last month. They put in an accepted bid of $4.195 million on one pad, but then withdrew the offer on Dec. 11 – the day Bernie was arrested – claiming that one of the rooms was too small.

If the residents at 133 E. 64th St. do force Madoff out in the future, it could be part of an emerging East Side trend of evictions following indictments. In October, residents of One Beacon Court reportedly gave disgraced defective-body-armor dealer David Brooks the boot. Brooks was charged in 2007 with looting his company – using the money, in part, to throw his daughter a $10 million bat mitzvah with a performance from 50 Cent.

But on Wednesday, a doorman at One Beacon Court said he would accept a fancy flower delivery for the indicted Brooks and leave it in the fridge.

Vlad pad for $8.75M

Vladimir Kagan – the czar of 20th century modern-furniture design – has put his 4,000-square-foot Park Avenue palace on the market for $8.75 million.

The prewar Carnegie Hill co-op – with three master suites, a library and four primary bathrooms along with three staff rooms and a staff bath – has been home to Kagan, 81, and his wife, needlepoint expert Erica Wilson, for 40 years. But they now spend most of their time at homes in Nantucket and Palm Beach, when Kagan’s not visiting clients like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
