POLL: SKIMPY DRESS GETS YOU AHEAD AT WORK

One in four women think the secret of success is how they dress and are willing to show a little more skin to get ahead, according to a new survey.

More than 27 percent of women said they’d wear skimpier clothing to the office if they thought it’s help them get a promotion, according to a story published by the UK’s Daily Mail.

More so, one in 20 said they dress provocatively on a regular basis.

Three quarters said they think their clothes affect their work day and more than half said that dressing up helps them perform better, saying they feel more in control and more respected by their coworkers.

“If you’re clothing is too relaxed in style, it’s harder to get into work mode and all too easy to waste the day,” a spokesman for Theragtrader.com, the Web site which conducted the survey, said.

“This relates to both accomplishing more during 9-5 and even climbing the career ladder quicker, too. Even when working from home, it’s incredible how clothing can influence your productivity.”
