WEST SIDE MUG SPREE

A rash of gunpoint robberies has terrified residents on the Upper West Side and Harlem.

Three thugs – all in their 20s – have pulled off 10 robberies inside low-rise buildings – in most cases demanding debit cards and PIN numbers so that they can withdraw cash, authorities said yesterday.

The men have swiped $6,000 in cash from various victims.

The latest incident occurred Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. inside 307 W. 117th Street.

Similar to the nine previous hold-ups, the men followed the victim into the lobby.

“One of them loaded the gun and pointed it in my face,” the victim, who did not want to be identified, told The Post.

He said the men took his laptop, iPod and wallet – then demanded his PIN code so they could withdraw $1,000 from his account.

“They said, ‘We’re going to kill you if the code doesn’t work,’ ” the victim recalled. He said while one crook left to get the cash, the one with the gun stayed behind.
