THE Money Honey seems poised to lock up a new pot o’ money at CNBC.
Maria Bartiromo appears close to signing a new multi-year deal with CNBC, where she is one of the financial network’s biggest stars.
Bartiromo’s current seven-figure deal reportedly expires in March.
There has been buzz that Bartiromo has reached out to [CNBC founder] and current Fox Business Channel boss Roger Ailes – as she has in the past when it came time to renegotiate her deal.
A CNBC spokesman said cryptically that Bartiromo “is under contract, period.”
Bartiromo is the anchor of CNBC’s daily “Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo” and host and managing editor of the nationally-syndicated “Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo“.
