MARC’D UP

Fashion’s bad boy Marc Jacobs has a new place to crash when he jets in from Paris with Brazilian boyfriend Lorenzo Martone.

While whispers of a 2009 Jacobs-Martone wedding grow louder, the $30,000-a-month pad inside the glitzy Andre Balazs-developed condo building at 40 Mercer St. will give the lovers more room to breathe. The 2,500-square-foot SoHo apartment offers three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms and is just down the street from the Marc Jacobs store at 163 Mercer St. and near his corporate office on Spring Street. During previous visits to the city, Jacobs stayed at Balazs’ Mercer Hotel.

While neighborhood residents have spotted the dapper and cleaned-up Jacobs coming and going at 40 Mercer, Brown Harris Stevens listing broker Wilbur Gonzalez, who also lives in the building, had no comment except to say, “Even in uncertain times, 40 Mercer continues to attract A-list clientele.”

The building, designed by starchitect Jean Nouvel, is also home to Harry Potter/”Equus” star Daniel Radcliffe.

All right, Hamilton

Emmy-winning TV journalist Cathleen Trigg-Jones, who appeared in the film “Enchanted,” and her husband, plastic surgeon, Michael Jones, have put their Hamilton Heights trophy townhouse on the market for $4 million. The 6,000-square-foot home, located on West 147th Street at Convent Avenue and built in 1892, offers 10 bedrooms, six bathrooms, a surround-sound screening room and a landscaped garden.

Brian Phillips of Prudential Douglas Elliman has the listing.
