Paul McCartney, still a hunk at 66 as he frolics on a Mexican beach with gal pal Nancy Shevell, plans to make a third trip down the aisle now that Shevell is free to marry, British newspapers reported yesterday.
McCartney has been dating Shevell, 49, an MTA board member from the Hamptons, for more than a year.
Her divorce from Bruce Blakeman, 52, became final Dec. 9.
Britain’s Sunday Mirror reports that McCartney has been saying he’ll wed soon, telling friends, “We are blissfully happy together.”
There are at least two reasons a wedding might be imminent.
McCartney’s children from his marriage to Linda McCartney – who did not love his second wife, Heather Mills – adore Shevell.
And Shevell comes from money.
“It makes everyone comfortable that she is clearly not after Paul’s money,” a source told Britain’s Sunday Telegraph.
