SHOOTOUT AT THE OK! CORRAL

A major shakeup has rattled OK! magazine.

Editor-in-Chief Susan Toepfer, who arrived at the magazine just three months ago, is out, and the word inside is that General Manager Kent Brownridge, who was brought on board in September, is also out.

Sarah Ivens, who left the magazine to get married and live in Kentucky, is now back as editor-in-chief.

Sources said Brownridge was summoned to an emergency meeting in London yesterday with Richard Desmond, chairman of OK! parent company, Northern + Shell.

Worldwide, OK! was profitable, but its American edition has lost more than $125 million since its launch and sources said Desmond was infuriated at the magazine’s circulation decline.
