Art Shamsky’s enraged ex-wife better just zip it, the Miracle Met’s lawyer warned yesterday.
“I cautioned [her lawyer] today that if he doesn’t zipper up his client’s mouth, we’re going to court to seek an order of protection and a gag order,” attorney Harvey Sladkus said.
His comments came a day after Kim Shamsky, 48 – who was divorced from the former outfielder in 2006 – am bushed him outside a benefit event involving fellow retired players and chased him up and down a Midtown street, screaming at him.

The two have been locked in an ugly, back- and- forth legal battle, with her filing suit last year claiming he carried on af fairs with both women and men during their 12-year marriage and even gave her a sexually trans mitted disease.
“I think it is getting out of hand,” Sladkus said of Kim’s outburst.
He said he faxed a letter to her lawyer, William Beslow, demanding he corral his client.
“He better try to control his client – she’s made some very danger ous and irresponsible remarks,” Sladkus said.
“She better be careful about what she says. If she can’t litigate according to the rules, we’ll be vigor ous about defending and prosecuting liti gation.”
Sladkus said the ex-Met hero was deeply upset by the public ambush but was prepared to fight.
“He said, ‘What’s she trying to do to me?’ ” Sladkus recounted. ” ‘I’m going to give her a fight, if that’s what she’s looking for.’ ”
Beslow did not return calls for comment, but Kim Shamsky – who has made millions running a successful temp agency – just laughed off Sladkus’ threats.
“I think it’s funny,” she sniffed. “That’s ridiculous.”
In her suit, she sought financial compensation for emotional and physiological distress. Sladkus accused her of trying get back money she had to pay in the divorce settlement.
In counter-arguments filed Monday, Art Shamsky, 67, denied he infected his ex.
In his court filing, he also shot down charges he had done any switch-hitting, and insisted he’s disease-free and not to blame for his ex’s condition – if she even has a sexually transmitted disease.
He also said the businesswoman was “sexually active with other men prior to the parties’ marriage to each other and after December 2005.” They were married in 1994 and split 12 years later.
The slugger hit .300 with 14 home runs for the Amazin’ Mets in 1969.
That season, the Mets upset the heavily favored Baltimore Orioles in the World Series to win their first title.
With this coming season marking the 40th anniversary of that historic title and the opening of Citi Field, it’s likely Shamsky will take part in on-field player-reunion ceremonies.
