Teacher charges students ‘money’ for bathroom breaks

A Washington state schoolteacher forced her students to pay Monopoly money to pee, leading two kids to wet their pants.

Third-graders at Mill Plain Elementary apparently could earn the play money through good behavior and spend it on anything from candy to bathroom breaks.

The idea went south when few children decided to cash in on treats instead of potty breaks.

“I didn’t want to be left out. I wanted to have popcorn with my friends,” one girl told her mother.

“And so she tried to hold it,” the mother explained. “She said it hurt so bad, the pain was so bad, she goes, ‘I just had to let it go.’ ”
