The first dual language school in the city, teaching English and Mandarin Chinese. Right now, about 40% of students are English speakers. All students

required to take the Chinese Regents; since the school opened in 2003, every student has passed. Long day can go from 7:15 to 4:30. Tough academics. Open on Saturday for programs and ELL classes for parents. One program takes students to famous NYC sites, like the Empire State Building. One in five teachers has a PhD. College courses available.
